Professional activity and achievements

Head of Sports trauma department since 2006. He developed more than 20 methods of diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation methods in knee extension contractures, meniscus tear and cysts, knee osteoarthritis, anterior cruciate ligament ruptures, patellar instability, knee extensor apparatus injuries, rotator cuff tear of the shoulder, tibial proximal fractures and malunions obtained patents from Agency of Intellectual Property of Republic of Uzbekistan. These methods used widely in majority clinics of our country and allow to achieve best results in treatment of above mentioned injuries. Surgeries as well as posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction were introduced by Irismetov M.E.

Every year he active participates with his presentations in different orthopaedic congresses in Commonwealth of Independent States and Europe. Trained in different leading hospitals in Russia, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Austria, Japan. Participant of different Orthopaedic Congresses carried out in Great Britain, Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, United Arabic Emirates, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Belarus. He is author of more than 200 scientific articles. He is a holder of 21 patents given by Agency of Intellectual Property of Republic of Uzbekistan
